You would think by the title of this blog post that the above video was commissioned by Endeavour Energy.
No so. It was in fact commissioned by DJI Enterprise - the worlds leading manufacturer of drone tech.
In fact, we currently own two DJI drones for our professional drone video work.
So why would DJI want to tell a story about how Endeavour Energy are improving bushfire safety?
The answer is simple: this is a story about how the DJI product has improved the success of Endeavour Energy's annual pre-summer bushfire power line inspection process.
It's a case study video, which in today's online marketing landscape is a powerful tool.
The story, which is told entirely by the client - not DJI - explains how the product has improved the safety, cost efficiency, environmental impact, customer experience and overall success rate of what was previously a very costly, noisy, CO2 emitting excersize using manned helicopters.
